Folding jeans in a drawer VS. hanging them in a closet?

i put my jeans in a drawer. i fold them neatly like so all the folds on all the pairs i have are the same every time. but i found a pants hanger (like it holds 5 pairs of pants) and i hung all my jeans up today instead of in the drawer. whats the difference of storing either way? and what is better for the jeans? they are all levis.
