Will 1.5 grams of dried shrooms be a good amount?

I am told the shrooms' I have are pretty potent, I know the dealer. He had an 8th and ate about 2 grams leaving me the 1.5 grams I bought. Will 1.5 grams of shrooms be potent, never have done shrooms but have done acid many times, not in about 5 months though. For those not good at math, its more than an 8th split in 3 but less than half an 8th.
