Can you tell me what my dream means?

About 3 days ago I had this dream that i was walking through a graveyard. This graveyard was very nice looking, and everything was stone. I came upon a tombstone and it had my use-to-be friend's face engraved on it. The date on the tombstone was January(the moth we had stopped talking) to May 4. Why so specifically May 4 I don't know. My friend was a guy that I was talking to and trying to start a relationship with, but we live 30 minutes away from each other so we never saw one another. Every day that went by we talked less and less until we didn't talk at all for weeks at a time and then I would have to talk to him first to get him to talk back. Then i finally stopped talking to him period. Then I had this dream and I'm wondering what it means and if I should try and contact him to see how he is doing or see if he is still alive. What should I do?
