Help with Renault Scenic. AGAIN !!! Please.?

Full service Monday.Told I could have car back till Friday as the water pump could do with changing.Water pump changed Friday. Motoring Monday. Cam belt failed damaging two valves and sleeves.Cam belt had only done 35,oooo. Any connection ??
