Would they let me in the army if...?

I have a condition called pectus excavatum. My doctor says that it DOES NOT inhibit my breathing or heart function. I go into MEPS next week and I was wondering if it would effect my chances of getting into the military or if I need a doctors note confirming its purely cosmetic. The sternum sinks in a little less than an inch. Id prefer an answer from someone who has pectus and is or has tried to get into the military or someone who works in MEPS.
