Is being a righteous gentile?

I hope no one is a gentile because it's the easy way out. It depends who you're referring to, but I would guess that people who don't claim to be Jewish just don't believe in the religion. If Jews think their beliefs are true, then that's good for them! People just follow what they believe in.
